Tim was the recipient of the 2002 Borleske award for outstanding senior male athlete at Whitman College.

A PNW product, Tim grew up in Salem, OR before coming to Whitman. While at Whitman Tim won an amazing 149 matches and was named the Northwest Conference MVP twice. He was also a participant in the NCAA III singles and doubles tournament (with partner Eric Bartee). Tim suffered a serious ankle injury his freshman year which forced him to miss most of his freshman year.

After Whitman, Tim got an advanced degree in Geology and currently works as a geologist in the Seattle area.
