Remarks

Even though a short timer at Whitman (only 1 semester) Daniel had a major impact on the 2008 team. Daniel transferred to Whitman from Colorado College to be a part of a competitive DIII program and play doubles with his brother Matt. During his solo season he was named 1st Team All-Conference and helped lead Whitman to the NCAA III Team Championships. At the team championships he and brother Matt defeated the #1 doubles team in the nation.

Although at Whitman only a semester, Daniel provided great leadership and maturity to a relatively young team. His addition to the team was key factor in the Whitties undefeated conference record, conference championship and NCAA tournament appearance.

From a coaching perspective I wish I had the opportunity to have Daniel for 4 years — 1 semester was entirely too short!
